Digital freight platform Quicargo launches in Germany, France and the UK

Quicargo is expanding its digital freight solutions by expanding to Germany, France and the United Kingdom. With the launch of a brand-new German and French version of the website, the tech-company aims to disrupt the industry of transport & logistics even further.

The digital network connects shippers and carriers. However, the company is not offering a simple marketplace. Instead, it offers a one-stop-shop for pallet shipping. LTL, FTL, groupage, distribution, international shipping… Everything a shipper or freight forwarder needs to handle the logistics of road transport in one place.

To enhance the reach within the new territories, and to be able to help even more shippers with their pallet transport, Quicargo is actively looking for freight carriers in Germany, France and the UK. With many carriers in search of extra freight in these times of COVID-19, the number of transporters embracing new technology is climbing. The Dutch scale-up reports that this is very noticeable in the amount of new registrations coming in.

‘Quicargo is receiving more and more inquiries from carriers across Europe. Now that we are successful in the Benelux, it is now time for us to connect more freight loads in the UK, France and Germany with specialized carriers.’

In addition to the necessity of digitizing logistic processes to improve the margins in the transportation industry, the pandemic is also helping to accelerate the need for sustainable solutions. Quicargo aims to efficiently use empty capacity to reduce the amount of empty trucks on the European roads. This will lead to less congestion on the roads and thus less pollution. A win-win situation!
